This page of the Configuration Assistant lets you choose a UPnP device to monitor. UPnP supports automatic discovery therefore all compatible devices that have been detected on your network at the time will be displayed in the list.
If you device does not appear in the list, try clicking the Previous button and waiting a few seconds then click Next to come back to this screen. Auto-discovery can take 5-30 seconds to fully complete and may take longer if the device(s) are busy.
The following information is shown for each device in the list:
|Device name||The name of the device, as identified by UPnP.|
Green = Detected, appears to be working and reporting data transferred.
Yellow = Detected, appears to be working but may not be reporting data transferred.
Red = Detected, appears to not be working.
|Network information||This line appears below the router name and reports the external (Internet-facing) IP address of the device, the type of connection (Cable, DSL etc) and the status of that connection.|
|Current Transfer Rate (Up / Down)||Displays the amount of data being transferred (upload and download) per second by this device.|
|Graph||Displays a short history of the upload/download transfer rate for this device.|
